The 79th Venice international film festival was held on the last day of summer in Lido, Italy. Catherine Deneuve, who received the Golden Lion of St. Mark award for her contribution to the development of world cinema, symbolically expressed her support for Ukraine and its people. The actress appeared on the carpet with the Ukrainian flag pasted on her shirt.
