In Spain, explosions continue to be heard in embassies and other public institutions. The first blood threat from an unknown sender was received on 30 November at the Ukrainian embassy in Madrid. Already, the Spanish police are investigating 6 cases of terrorism. Letters with an explosive device were also found in the office of the prime minister of Spain, at the airbase, and at the embassy of the United States.
So far, this case is linked to the desire to intimidate politicians and people. The main goal is to transform aid to Ukraine. Such suspicions are based on geographical considerations. The Ukrainian embassy in Spain, the first victim, helps countries strengthen relations. This is not advantageous for the aggressor in the war. An explosive device was also found at an airbase that provides intelligence to Ukraine. A "bloody" package was also sent to a Spanish weapons company. Since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the organization has produced anti-tank rocket launchers for Ukraine.
Spanish law enforcement authorities believe that the sender of "letters" is the same person — there is no signature on the envelope, but the assembly of all devices is the same. In Spain, this case is considered terrorism. Also, all institutions and factories associated with Ukraine or assistance to this country called for enhanced security measures, and postal companies were asked to check the contents of parcels.
"We will protect every Ukrainian both in Ukraine and abroad by all available means. When it will be established who committed this attack, we will do everything to ensure that this person or these people are subjected to the maximum punishment," Ukrainian foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba reacted to the event.
The enemy can threaten and use weapons. But those who know what they are fighting for will not break.
