Sunflower Oil Prices are to Fall Noticeably

Now the prices for sunflower oil of the old crop are up to $1300 / t FOB, and the new one — up to $ 1200 / t FOB. It is noted that the purchase prices for sunflower in Ukraine, after falling to $650 / t, somewhat recovered to $700 / t with delivery to the plant. 

The world production of sunflower meal will grow by 10% or 1.96 million tons compared to the current season, and sunflower oil — by 10% or 1.96 million tons.

According to forecasts, Ukraine will increase the production of sunflower by 18% to 16.7 million tons, sunflower oil — by 18% to 6.99 million tons, sunflower meal — by 19% to 6.71 million tons.

In Ukraine, favorable conditions for the development of crops. As of June 10, 6.43 million hectares or 100% of the planned areas were sown with sunflower in Ukraine.
