The Crimean bridge is a monument to the Russian annexation of the Ukrainian Crimea. The bridge was built after the annexation of Crimea by order and sponsorship of Putin. It connects the Ukrainian city of Kerch in Crimea and the Russian city of Novorossiysk. Russia delivers its military equipment and soldiers to Ukraine and loots from Ukraine.
On July 17, evidence that an explosion damaged the Crimean bridge began to spread online. The bridge was likely hit by water surface drones. The Ukrainian side did not take responsibility for the morning's events. On the other hand, this explosion may also be a Russian provocation. Whoever damaged this thoroughfare, the bridge/railway service and the ferry crossing have been shut down.
