Anka Feldhusen, the German ambassador to Ukraine, conveyed compliments to our army and its command. According to Feldhusen, Berlin assessed the offensive of Ukraine and the operations that our army launched against the Russian occupiers as positively as possible.
"We all in Berlin watched and were delighted with the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the east and south," Anka Feldhusen.
Separately, ambassador Feldhusen also mentioned the topic of supplying additional tanks from Germany to Ukraine.
"This discussion is ongoing. You have heard our chancellor more than once, who said that he is in close contact with partners — the USA, Great Britain, France, regarding this mathematics... There is no end to this discussion yet, but I hope that it will end successfully and positively for Ukraine," Anka Feldhusen.
It's not a secret — Ukraine needs weapons, tanks. Ukraine requested modern Leopard 2 tanks from Germany but was refused by Olaf Scholz. According to the chancellor, even NATO will not directly transfer weapons to Ukraine. At the same time, German politicians continue to demand from the Bundeswehr and the chancellor modern weapons for Ukraine — Leopard 2 and BMP Marder.
