Recently, negotiations took place between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the president of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves. This is the first conversation between presidents in the history of each country.
"We continue our systematic work with the Global South. Held the first telephone conversation in the history of diplomatic relations with the president of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves. Thank you for your leadership position in the group of small island states in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The parties discussed the Ukrainian initiative Grain from Ukraine, which is a tool for food security in the world. Zelenskyy also told José Maria Neves about the Peace formula and called to join its integration.
These talks are crucial in establishing diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Cape Verde.
