On April 9, Richard Branson arrived in Ukraine for the second time. His way passed through Lviv, and as Richard later told Zelenskyy, in Lviv he met several Ukrainian soldiers who came home to recuperate. Some of them had no arms or legs, but their eyes burned with the desire to return to the front and continue to defend Ukraine.
On April 10, United24 Ambassador Branson met with the president of Ukraine, and together they discussed the importance of publicising what is happening to the people of Ukraine. As Zelenskyy said: "You never know which resource will be the most useful." Therefore, it is great that Richard has the desire and opportunity to tell the world about the events in Ukraine.
"Met with the founder of Virgin Group and the non-profit foundation Virgin Unite, entrepreneur Richard Branson, who became our new ambassador for United24. I thanked Richard for his powerful messages in support of our country during this war against the Russian aggressor. It is very important that famous and influential personalities keep joining this platform. One of our key tasks is to keep the world's focus on Russia's war against Ukraine, which has been going on for over a year. Additionally, there are other specific issues on which we can work together," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
