The morning in Kyiv began with a greeting from the minister of foreign affairs of France, Catherine Colonna.
"Good morning, Ukraine, I'm glad to return to Kyiv. France is close to supporting Ukraine," wrote the minister on Twitter.
Under a brief announcement, the foreign minister posted a photo from the centre of the capital of Ukraine — Sophia Square. The photo shows that the French ambassador to Ukraine, Etienne de Poncins became a chaperone for the French Ministry of foreign affairs.
It is not the 1st time that Catherine Colonna has come to Ukraine since the Russian invasion of its territory. For the first time, the politician visited Bucha. This was her first working visit to Ukraine in her new position. It is not known what questions Colonna came to solve today — the politician does not comment yet. However, the ambassador of France to Ukraine said that the day will be full. Also, according to Etienne de Poncins on Twitter, Colonna came to Kyiv for the 3rd time in a few weeks.
"We congratulate Colonna on her third working visit to Kyiv in a few weeks. You are waiting for a busy day. France solidarity with Ukraine," Etienne de Poncins.
