It is reported that French defence minister Sebastien Lecornu arrived in Kyiv today. First of all, the minister went to the memorial of the heroes who died in the war for the freedom of Ukraine and laid flowers in support of Ukrainians from France.
Lecornu scheduled a meeting with the delegation of the Ukrainian military leadership — the Ministry of defence and Armed Forces of Ukraine. The defence ministers of Ukraine and France are expected to hold a joint press conference.
Earlier it was announced that France will increase the transfer of weapons to strengthen Ukraine's defence capabilities.
