According to BBC, during the minister's speech to parliament, Annalena Baerbock said that the destruction of Ukrainian resistance and civilization on the territory of the Donetsk region is Putin's goal.
"First the missiles, then the planes with artillery, then the warplanes with artillery, and then, when everything is flattened, the tanks roll in. This is a new wave of destruction. And that means that it is also a strategy of depopulation, to extinguish the civilization in the Donbas," Annalena Baerbock.
Joe Biden also agrees with the German minister and said that Putin is trying to wipe out the culture and identity of the Ukrainian people.
The minister stressed the senselessness of the diplomatic methods of some countries with Putin. Some chancellors and heads of state probably cannot understand that this does not work with a Russian tyrant.
"We have seen from Ukraine's neighboring countries that an end to violence does not automatically mean freedom, but rather the exact opposite," the minister continued.
