A historic event took place today: the prime minister of neutral Japan Fumio Kishida arrived in the capital of Ukraine. Accordingly, since World War II, representatives of Japan have not come to countries where the war is going on. This is an unprecedented symbol of Japan's support for Ukraine.
Today, Japan presides over the G7 and comprehensively supports Ukraine with equipment for the reconstruction of cities, financial packages, accepts Ukrainian refugees and applies sanctions against Russia.
We are currently waiting for a joint press conference of Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Fumio Kishida.
