At the concert of The Rolling Stones, during the performance of the single Gimme Shelter, huge images and video clips of terrible events in Ukraine appeared on the screens behind the artists. Then the screens began to broadcast the waving flag of Ukraine. The audience reacted positively to the performance and joined the support of Ukraine. It is worth noting that The Rolling Stones are now conducting their SIXTY tour, and at each concert, they show the public footage of the war and call for support for Ukraine.
The Guns N' Roses concert also broadcasted support for our brave state: the stage of the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was decorated with Ukrainian symbols, and yellow and blue lights were turned on during the band's performance.
These are not the only examples of a pro-Ukrainian position on the part of world stars. Metallica launched the It's All in My Hands charity campaign and donated raised million dollars to World Central Kitchen, which feeds Ukrainians fleeing the war across the border between Ukraine and Poland. The band also sang together with the Ukrainian band The Hardkiss.
Rammstein unfurled the flag of Ukraine at their concert in Zurich, and Scorpions, performing in Krakow, unfurled the 50-meter flags of Ukraine and Poland.
Each member of Billy Talent signed the guitar and put it up for auction. The proceeds will be donated to the UN and the Red Cross to help Ukrainians.
We remind you that for the sake of helping Ukraine, Richard Gere put his Jaguar up for sale, and Nobel laureate Dmitry Muratov sold his medal for $103.5 million.
