The UN General Assembly Prove Russia’s War Crimes in Ukraine

The Independent International Commission of the UN recorded violations of the Russian Federation in the war and made a preliminary report

On 18 October, the detailed written report of the UN General Assembly was presented in the international arena. It is reported that this document will prove the atrocities of the Russian army during the war. The report deals with numerous war crimes, human rights violations, and violations of international humanitarian law. It should be noted that this report concerns a short period — February-March 2022. An independent commission investigated the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.

But the Commission continues to work further. Ukraine is liberating more territories, and the Russian aggressor shows a lack of principles. The members of the Commission record all this: the commissioner for human rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jasminka Džumhur, the Colombian justice specialist Pablo de Greiff and the former Norwegian Supreme Court Judge, Eric Jose. It is expected that an independent international commission of the United Nations will be able to present a complete countdown in March 2023. The document will be used in international prosecutions of Russian war criminals. No one can escape punishment and sow a time when being a Russian military is not proud but shameful.
