The US Ambassador to the UN Arrived in Kyiv

November 8, ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield: "Our support is unwavering"

Linda Thomas-Greenfield arrived in Ukraine today with an unannounced visit. Such secrecy, after all, was forced against the background of Russia's growing cold-blooded atrocities against Ukraine and everyone on its territory. The US ambassador came with a specific plan regarding Ukraine and a conversation with president Zelenskyy. She will stay here for 1 day.

"USA ambassador to UN is in Kyiv for a day of meetings to reiterate USA’s unwavering support for Ukraine as it defends its freedom and sovereignty amidst Russia’s brutal and unprovoked invasion," USUN director of communications/spokesperson Nate Evans.

On November 7, Thomas-Greenfield gave an interview to CNN chief international anchor Christiane Amanpour and made several important statements regarding American support for Ukraine.

"We have been unified from day one, and we've not seen any cracks in that unity. Europe is unified, NATO is unified. We have bipartisan support in the United States for support for Ukraine. Our support is unwavering, and we will continue to be unified until Ukraine wins this war and Russia takes their troops out of Ukraine," Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

Recently, at a UN meeting, Linda Thomas-Greenfield called Russian statements about the creation of biological weapons in Ukraine a "waste of time." Similar statements were made by several other countries.
