The US embassy in Czechia announces providing financial support to Ukrainian refugees and charities supporting Ukrainians in need. The amount provided to the Czech Republic is $8.2 million. Funds will be distributed as follows:
- UNICEF — $3.3 million;
- World Health Organization — $2 million;
- United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees — $1.5 million;
- International Organization for Migration — $1.4 million.
In total, the United States has provided over $107 million to sponsor charities that care for Ukrainians.
Today, more than 470.000 Ukrainians have found refuge in the Czech Republic. In the same place, our citizens can get jobs in companies with a worldwide reputation.
