This option was the only possible evacuation. It is reported that Sasha was with his grandmother in the Vyshgorod district when the siege and bombing began. Russian troops destroyed bridges and blocked people’s roads. So the only way to evacuate was by the river.

On the evening of April 5, it was reported that a tiny old boy was found dead. He was the only one with a life jacket, but even this did not help him survive. The boy was found with bullet wounds.
