On January 10, the Turkish media Anadolu published an interview with the minister of foreign affairs of Turkey, Mevlut Cavusoglu. The minister said that Turkey and personally president Recep Tayyip Erdogan are making great efforts to end the war as soon as possible and at the negotiating table.
"But there are new parameters and realities. Russia says it is ready to negotiate now. Zelenskyy proposed a 10-point peace plan. We, as Turkey, support this plan and continue our work," Mevlut Cavusoglu.
The minister added that even despite the war, he sees the results of the work of the Turkish diplomatic front, and they will not stop until a "lasting peace and a mutually acceptable solution" is reached.
Earlier, the Estonian PM Kaja Kallas stated in support of the formula.
