“UAFIN.TECH 2021” Conference in Kyiv

Over 3000 people attended the event

On December 8, the annual fintech conference UAFIN.TECH 2021 took place. The holding in December is becoming a symbolic summing up of the results of the year of the industry, among the support of more than 40 speakers.

The speeches were filled with ideas on the further development of the financial market, current trends and cases of their use.

From the presentations of the experts and the panelists' discussions, one can think of the following thoughts:

The financial market is on the verge of significant changes. Further development envisages the synergy of fintech with banks, which are responsible for marketing and product, banks — for compliance, security and lending.

Gradually, there is a transition to 100% digital transactions, and financial services will be an integral part of everyday life, so transfers in messengers or using digital glasses will become the new norm.

Within the conference framework, guests could get acquainted with the leading market companies and with fintech startups represented on the startup alley and participate in the pitching. The jury awarded three winners: elKYC, Agrifinance Online and Vkursi Zemli.

Although the pandemic has made some adjustments to our lifestyle: COVID certificates, quarantine restrictions, COVID-19 has positively impacted the fintech market. And during the conference, the participants discussed what results different companies have achieved and looked into the future of the financial world, which is already entering the digital meta universes.

The conference was held with the support of the general partner —  Mastercard, fintech ecosystem partners — IFC (International Finance Corporation), GGF (Good Governance of Great Britain), SECO (Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs), technology partners — Cloudera and AM-BITS, partner banks - FUIB and Raiffeisen Bank, startup alley partner — N1, fintech partner — MPS LEO, infrastructure partner — TietoEVRY, transaction partner of IBOX Bank and others.
