The Ministry of Defense in the UK has signed a contract with Pearson Engineering for the supply of multi-purpose interfaces for machines. This equipment will enable the attachment of anti-mine plows to machinery already in use in Ukraine, enhancing the country's ability to clear landmines and unexploded ordnance.
This contribution is part of a larger £100 million (approximately US$125 million) aid package from the UK to Ukraine. Included in this support are remote-controlled demining machines MW370 and accompanying support kits, highlighting the UK's commitment to Ukraine's immediate and long-term security needs.
Maj. Gen. Anna-Lee Reilly emphasized the importance of collaboration with industrial partners to equip Ukraine with the necessary demining and ordnance disposal capabilities.
