Egypt remains one of Ukraine's key trading partners. According to the results of 2020, Egypt took 1st place among the countries of Africa and the Arab world in terms of turnover, which amounted to $1,70 billion, for 4 months of 2021 — $588,9 million.
According to the volume of Ukrainian-Egyptian trade in tourism services in 2020, the volume of travel amounted to 51,38%, which shows the active development of tourism relations between Ukraine and Egypt.
For its part, Khaled el-Anany is interested in increasing the number of tourists from Ukraine to Egypt. Attention was paid to the measures of the EEA Government to ensure safe conditions for foreign tourists to stay in Egypt in the global pandemic COVID-19. The Egyptian side also reported on the rules of the Ministry of Health of Egypt on controls, requirements and procedures applicable to entry into Egypt.
