In Odesa, the relevant memorandum was signed by Jeremy Quinn, minister of defence procurement of the Kingdom, and Oleksandr Myroniuk, deputy minister of defence of Ukraine. The process was attended by the secretary of the national security and defence council of Ukraine Olexiy Danilov, British first sea lord admiral Tony Radakin and British ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons.
Earlier, the destroyer HMS DEFENDER arrived in Odessa last Friday. The second Royal Navy ship visited Odessa in the last few weeks after HMS TRENT.
As part of the cooperation, eight missile boats will be designed and built. In addition, Ukraine will receive two minesweepers. At the same time, the transfer of technology is envisaged.
