Konstrukta-Defence (Slovakia) and the Kramatorsk heavy tank building plant (Ukraine) agreed to jointly update and adapt the Slovak self-propelled gun Eva to the challenges of the war in Ukraine.
KHTBP is best known in Ukraine for its Bohdan howitzers. From the start of a full-scale war, KHTBP ordered several Zuzana 2 self-propelled guns from Slovakia, and this became the impetus for cooperation in the production and modernization of mortars, ammunition, then the Ukrainian Bohdan, and now the Slovak Eva.
The parties will jointly build Eva, using the best technological solutions from both Ukrainian and Slovak machine tool industries. However, this is only a plan that may not come true so far. One of the reasons is the change of government in Slovakia, which may not support Ukraine and even cancel the military support of our state.
