Today, Ukrainian parliamentarians formulated a joint appeal to the members of the UN calling on them to comply with their obligations under the Rome Statute. 123 countries that have ratified the Rome Statute must detain an international criminal if he has crossed the border of their state. And today it is Putin and the child rights ombudsman Lvova-Belova.
The deputies called on the countries to contribute to the investigation of the International Criminal Court and bring those responsible for the armed aggression against Ukraine to legal and fair punishment. The joint statement also includes a call for the creation of a common international mechanism to collect reparations from Russia, as well as increased sanctions pressure.
We remind you that on March 18, the Ukrainian minister of reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories Iryna Vereshchuk publicly appealed to Lvova-Belova requesting lists of children deported from Ukraine.
