Ukrainian gas storage operator Ukrtransgaz, which is part of Naftogaz, has begun pumping gas into underground gas storage facilities. On October 7, 2022, the gas extraction season began, and during this time, 5,572.000 m³ of gas was extracted. The head of Ukrgaztrans explains this by the fact that the season was shorter due to the warm winter.
"We continue to work as usual. Our team is ready for any challenges. In fact, we have already started preparations for next winter," Ukrtransgaz representative Roman Malyutin.
We remind you that Naftogaz, through the Arbitration Court, obliged Russia to pay compensation for the assets occupied in Crimea.
