Ukraine Registers “Janssen” Vaccine for Emergency Use

Today in the country are already approved for use the "Pfizer", "AstraZeneca", "CoviShield" and "CoronaVac" vaccines

On July 5, 2021, the Ministry of the health of Ukraine included it in the list of countries using Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine. Today, in connection with the decision of the World Health Organization, this vaccine has already been legalized in the USA, Switzerland, Canada, the EU and the UK.

“The vaccine contains a rendered harmless human adenovirus in which the DNA encoding the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus is embedded. The storage temperature of the drug is from +2 to +8 C. For complete immunization, one dose is enough," the website of the Ministry of the health of Ukraine reports.

44 thousand people took part in testing the vaccine. The 66% efficiency result is reliably high as British, Brazilian and South African strains of the coronavirus have already spread during development and testing. The key role here is that these types of Covid have not yet been tested and vaccines, which have a high percentage of effectiveness in combating the disease.
