Although this represents a 4% decrease from the previous year, certain segments showed notable growth.
- Poultry Export: The primary contributor to these exports was poultry meat, generating $800 million, despite a 6% decrease in revenue. However, in terms of volume, there was a 3% increase, amounting to 425 thousand tons.
- Beef Export: The frozen beef segment saw a significant rise, with earnings of $85 million, marking a 24% increase.
- Sausages and Canned Meat: The export of sausages and canned meat products witnessed substantial growth. Sausage exports brought in $4.6 million, a 60% increase, while ready-made and canned meat products earned $30.6 million, up by 41%.
These figures, reported by the Ukrainian Agricultural Export Association, indicate a mixed but promising scenario for Ukraine's meat export industry, with specific sectors experiencing robust growth.
