On April 11, in Canada, the head of the Ukrainian Energoatom and the head of the Canadian CAMECO signed the Agreement on weighing, sampling, analysis, storage and organisation of transportation of uranium concentrate. The miner and supplier of uranium will be the Ukrainian mining and enrichment plant Eastern. In turn, Canada will receive uranium concentrate, convert it and enrich it. Thanks to this step, in the future, Ukraine can use its own uranium to produce nuclear fuel and provide Ukrainians with electricity. This is a guarantee of energy security.
We remind you that the free trade agreement with Canada was also renewed on March 11.
