In the Vinnytsia region (central Ukraine), employees of the Frendt agricultural enterprise and engineers of the Vinnytsia national technical university converted old tractors into a vehicle for searching for mines in fields. The mechanism is simple: a metal detector is attached to the agricultural machinery, which remotely transmits information about a possible explosive object to the control panel of the tractor operator. The tractor stops, and then the demining team arrives.
The invention is simple but extremely important because today in Ukraine not only fields are mined, but also playgrounds, streets, etc. This is especially relevant for the territories that were the front zone: Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Kharkiv. Imagine what is happening in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
