Ukrainians Started Learning the Crimean Tatar Language

The Ukrainian catholic university introduced a course on the language and culture of the original people of the Crimean peninsula, and hundreds of Ukrainians opened it

This was announced by the rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University,  Roman Nazarenko. The course was introduced to unite all Ukrainians. Note that the main population of Crimea are Tatars, and they await the peninsula's liberation from Russian occupation.

From now on, the Crimean Tatar language will be taught at the Institute of religion and society. The course provides 15 lectures per semester. It includes the study of language, Crimean Tatar culture and excursions related to the history of this segment of society. At the end of the course, all students will receive a certificate under the ECTS assessment system.

In addition, the Ukrainian Ministry of education is working on creating the national corps of the Crimean Tatar language. Implementing the project means introducing the language to online translators and computer interfaces in Ukraine.
