US Arms Package for Ukraine for 800 Mln Unveiled

“We want Ukraine to win. We are doing everything possible for this,” the Pentagon

The US department of defense has published a list of military aid sent to Ukraine shortly. What is distinctive is that much of this package of weapons corresponds to the weapons Volodymyr Zelensky requested from the world.

Some weapons items will be assembled with Ottawa.

  • 18 155mm Howitzers and 40.000 artillery rounds;
  • 10 AN/TPQ-36 counter-artillery radars;
  • 2 AN/TPQ-64 Sentinel air surveillance radars;
  • 300 Switchblade Technical unmanned aerial systems;
  • 500 Javelin missiles and thousands of other anti-armor systems;
  • 200 M113 armored personnel carriers;
  • 100 high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicles;
  • 11 Mi-17 helicopters;
  • Unmanned coastal defense vessels;
  • Chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear protective equipment;
  • medical equipment;
  • 30.000 sets of body armor and helmets;
  • Over 2.000 and laser rangefinders;
  • C-4 explosives and demolition equipment for obstacle clearing;
  • M18A1 Claymore anti-personnel munitions configured to be consistent with Ottawa.

Also, US representatives announced their decision to transfer their intelligence data to Ukraine. After the Bucha massacre, America decided to increase its assistance in the more accurate destruction of the occupiers in the Crimea and Donbas by the Ukrainian army.

“The decision marks a shift in the Biden administration's approach to the conflict and comes after weeks of Kyiv asking the US and NATO allies for tanks, planes, and other heavy weapons to fight back against Russia,” WSJ.

The US authorities unequivocally declare their support for Ukraine and their voice for our democracy in this war.

"We want Ukraine to win. We want to provide Ukraine with everything we can to help it defend itself against this unprovoked invasion by the Russian Federation," John Kirby, Pentagon spokesman.
