Today, on the 3rd day of the terrible tragedy in Dnipro, US deputy secretary of state Wendy Sherman arrived in Ukraine. A closed meeting was held with the prime minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and the head of the office of the president of Ukraine, Andrii Yermak. US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink and Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Melnyk also attended the meeting.
"Ukrainians will never forget the help and support provided to us by the United States, the American people, the government, the president and the Congress," Andrii Yermak.
The topic of the talks was the US support for Ukraine. The Russian plan to cut off power to Ukraine and freeze Ukrainians did not achieve its goal thanks to international support, but measures to restore damaged infrastructure were still discussed. Russia has again relied on the destruction of the civilian population, and this is the reason for increasing the supply of air defence to Ukraine.
