Today, Crimea is a vast military base from which Russia conducts missile destruction of Ukraine, as well as delivers weapons and soldiers. Therefore, HIMARS will definitely be used against Russian military targets in Crimea. This was stated by a member of the Main directorate of intelligence of Ukraine Vadym Skibitsky.
"Today, the Crimean peninsula has become a hub for moving all equipment and weapons from the Russian Federation to the southern regions of our state. These are, first of all, accumulations of military equipment, ammunition and materials that are concentrated in Crimea and then sent to provide for the Russian occupying forces," Vadim Skibitskyy.
Skibitskyy recalled that Russian equipment is also located on the Black sea, which makes strikes against Ukraine and its civilians.
"First of all, these are the Caliber systems, frigates, small missile ships, submarines that are constantly on combat duty, waiting for commands, and then launching, regardless of the time of day. Therefore, this is also one of the targets that must be hit to ensure the safety of citizens, our facilities and Ukraine in general," said the representative of the intelligence department.
Earlier, the major-general of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmytro Marchenko said that as soon as Ukraine have suitable weapons, we will destroy the Kerch bridge. The decision of Ukraine is also supported by the US ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink: she believes that Ukraine itself should decide on the range of HIMARS strikes.
We remind you that Pentagon adviser Paul Massaro said that Ukraine should be praised for hitting not only Crimea but also Russia and Belarus.
