Ukraine and the World Bank have entered into a loan agreement under the Acceleration of Private Investment in Agriculture project. Ukraine was obliged to carry out several reforms that opened up the possibility of external financing for it. As a result of the revision of the results of Ukraine, the World Bank provided Ukraine with a loan in the amount of $132 million.
"We are grateful to the World Bank for the provided financing. The funds raised will allow us to continue to maintain the financial stability of Ukraine and reimburse priority costs, particularly in the agricultural sector, to improve the situation in the food industry and ensure food security in Ukraine," minister of finance Serhiy Marchenko.
In May of this year, the IMF will also review the fulfilment of our state's obligations to the fund.
