According to mayor of the city Vadym Boychenko, the regional and general prosecutor's offices have registered 1.250 Russian war crimes against Ukraine and Ukrainians.
"Today we record all the crimes committed by the Russian army and the already self-proclaimed leaders who have declared themselves in power… There are a lot of crimes in Mariupol. There are 1.256 of them. And all this is already being investigated by the regional prosecutor's office and the general prosecutor's office. That is, all this has signs of war crimes," Vadym Boychenko said.
On March 16, the Russians dropped bombs on a drama theater and killed more than 300 people. On both sides of the theater, on the pavement, was a large inscription that could be seen from the sky — CHILDREN. The Russians knew that children were hiding in the drama theater, and dropped bombs on it. Among the dead are girls-twins who previously played on the stage of this theater.
"Speaking of the drama theater. There are witnesses who have already testified and cautiously declared that there were more than 300 people in the drama theater. They estimated that there were 300 and more than 300", Boychenko.
On May 20, the dismantling of the ruins of the theater was completed. The Russians dismantled the debris themselves, did not identify the bodies of the dead, and simply threw them to the rest of the bodies in a mass grave near Mariupol — in Mangush village.
Now Mariupol is the biggest humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine. Ghetto and genocide. Close your eyes and imagine that in the 21st century, in the heart of Europe, in one of the largest cities in Europe, people have been living without light, water, and gas for almost 100 days. They prepare food on the fire near their houses and drink water from the sea.
