Hollywood actor Sean Penn has supported Ukraine since the 1st days of the Russian military invasion. He, together with the American tennis player Ann Lee created a charity fund CORE. The project helps Ukrainian immigrants.

On June 11, the CORE charity project held a big concert. The musical show was held in the Los Angeles theater Hollywood Palladium. It was dedicated to raising funds for Ukrainians.

Ukrainian band Dakh Daughters came to America and attended a charity concert to tell what is happening in Ukraine. Other musical and singing artists performed too. At the end of the evening, Ukrainian settlers and soldiers managed to raise $1 million.

"We were honored to be part of a charity event organized by CORE, led by Sean Penn and Anne Lee, during which over a million dollars were raised. Thank you for this opportunity! Stand with Ukraine," wrote on the official Dakh Daughters page on Facebook.

Recall that in Ukraine and the world is now a lot of creative activities in support of Ukraine. The organizers and participants of the concerts raise money for humanitarian aid, ammunition for the armed forces, and medical treatment for the fighters and injured locals. Singers sell their clothes, artists auction their paintings, and musicians give their profits.
