$200 Mln Donation to Ukraine From Putin’s Relative

In Croatia, the yacht of Medvedchuk will be sold, and all the money will be transferred to Ukraine

The Guardian reported that Viktor Medvedchuk will benefit Ukraine even after the exchange. The agency says Medvedchuk's yacht, which was arrested in Croatia, is up for auction. The organizers count on getting this lot at least $200 million. The yacht has the name Royal Romance, its length reaches almost 100 meters. The Guardian notes that the arrested ship belongs to superyachts. The 92.5-meter vessel is one of the world's largest yachts.

The Croatian court decided that six floors (29 meters high) equipped with 2 lifts, a cinema, a gym, a swimming pool, a spa and cosmetology area, and 50 rooms for various purposes would be transferred to the Ukrainian agency for asset tracing and management. After inspection and preparation of the necessary documents, the Ukrainian representative office put the yacht on auction. The size of the yacht is incredible, so the auction will most likely take place in the country where it is located now.

Recall that Viktor Medvedchuk is a relative of Putin. Earlier in Ukraine, he was an oligarch and a representative of a pro-Russian political party. After the outbreak of war, Ukraine imposed sanctions against the policy and arrested him after a failed escape. Later, Russia took Medvedchuk in exchange for Ukrainian soldiers.
