The president of the United States signed a proclamation according to which a 35% duty was imposed on imports of Russian goods. These are goods from Russia and Belarus that have not been previously embargoed. Sanctions in effect: an additional duty has been imposed on a country that defaulted on foreign debt yesterday.
It is known that the relevant administrations will monitor the introduction and implementation of the new provisions, and in some circumstances may repeal them.
