4 Ukrainian Deputies Revoked Citizenship for High Treason

Viktor Medvedchuk, Taras Kozak, Renat Kuzmin and Andriy Derkach — farewell

On January 10, Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed the people of Ukraine that 4 former people's deputies were deprived of their citizenship for high treason. We are talking about the notorious Medvedchuk, Kozak, Kuzmin and Derkach.

"If the deputies choose to serve not the people of Ukraine, but the murderers who came to Ukraine, then our actions will be appropriate. And these are not the last such decisions," Zelenskyy.

The deprivation of citizenship was implemented on the basis of evidence of high treason provided by the Security Service of Ukraine/State Migration Service and in accordance with the Constitution of Ukraine.

We remind you that by personal decree of Putin, Medvedchuk was exchanged for 200 Ukrainian soldiers. It is known that at that time, this person (already) stateless had already given Ukraine all the testimony necessary for the investigation. Medvedchuk was charged with treason and aiding terrorism. In 2021, Medvedchuk was joined by his fellow party member Kozak: he was charged with high treason and violation of the laws and customs of war.
