On the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of World War II, the prime minister of Canada Justin Trudeau, the Croatian prime minister Andrej Plenkovic and the minister of foreign affairs, Gordan Grilic Radman, and the head of the Bundestag Berbel Bas visited Ukraine.
After Justin Trudeau met with the president of Ukraine and visited the murdered Bucha, the prime minister's office announced the provision of another batch of military equipment: "The prime minister announced additional measures and funds to further support Ukraine, including 50 million Canadian dollars in military form assistance."
What will be included in the party:
- 18 cameras for drones;
- Ammunition for M777 howitzers;
- Firearms and ammunition;
- Satellite services for $15 million.
"We have already said that we will provide NLAW and other anti-tank weapons. We will provide everything we need and finance the demining efforts," Justin Trudeau told a news conference with Zelenskyy. On the same day, Croatian prime minister Andrej Plenkovic announced assistance in demining Ukraine's lands.
We remind that now Canada is looking for a way to transfer to Ukraine frozen Russian assets, as well as working on a state package of sanctions against the Putin circle. Also, Canada recognized Russian actions against Ukrainians as genocide.
