Combating Unemployment in Ukraine 

30.000 Ukrainians joined paid community service

Every Ukrainian who does not have a job or skills, cannot fight or donate, and has the desire to help Ukraine, can join the Army of recovery.

The Army of Recovery is a socio-economic humanitarian project for the performance of socially valuable works for clearing territories, clearing debris, and helping public services of urban planning. Every employee of the Recovery Army receives a salary every month. Since the creation of the project in November 2022, almost $5 million have been allocated from the budget of Ukraine for wages, and 29.557 Ukrainians from 18 regions of the country have joined the army.

The largest number of participants was registered from the Poltava region (5,409 people), Kharkiv region (5,115) and Kyiv region (3,228).
