Crystal Microphone of the “Eurovision” Winner Sold

Ukrainian hip-hop group "Kalush Orchestra" sold the cup of the winner of the "Eurovision" song contest-2022 for $900.000

On May 29, the auction organized by the winner of the Eurovision-2022 ended. The auction was held for several days: from 25 till 29 May. Kalush Orchestra put up 2 lots for sale. Among them was a crystal trophy in the form of a microphone — the song contest awarded.

On May 29, the Ukrainian news portal Ukrinform reported about the sale of the lot, referring to the band's official page on Facebook.

"Friends, you are incredible! We are grateful to each of you who has given up money for this auction and especially to the team Whitebit, who bought the cup for $900.000 and, from now on, become the right holders of our cup. Subscribe to them, they deserve it. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the armed forces of Ukraine," the report quotes the publication.

Note that Whitebit is a Ukrainian currency crypto exchange, which 2 years ago became one of the largest European centres of concentration of digital currency. The organization has about 2 million users.

This result of the auction speaks of the great support of each other and the assistance of the Ukrainian army inside the country. The Ukrainian people are ready to help in all possible ways to defeat the invaders. The group's money is used to buy drones for the Ukrainian army.
