A dialogue between the leaders of Ukraine and Germany took place today. As Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his telegram channel, he managed to discuss with Olaf Scholz not only important topics for Ukraine but also thanked Germany for its contribution to protecting the borders and sky of Ukraine.
"I talked with German chancellor Olaf Scholz. We discussed the situation on the battlefield, including the new Russian strikes on civilians. We supported the continuation of the grain initiative and agreed on positions on the eve of the G20 summit," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Earlier it became known that Germany allocated €7.6 million for the work of the International Commission on Missing Persons in Ukraine. This is a huge contribution to the process of identifying victims and holding Russia accountable for its crimes against Ukraine.
We remind you that Putin did not dare to appear at the G20 summit and instead send Lavrov, who had already proved himself at the G20 summit for foreign ministers.
