€300 Mln Humanitarian Aid From Germany and Switzerland

On December 13, the state decided to allocate funds to cover the urgent humanitarian needs of Ukraine

Today, an international conference Solidarity with the Ukrainian people held in Paris. The president of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis is attending the conference and announced that his government will provide $100 million to compensate for the social and humanitarian damage caused by the Russian war to the people of Ukraine.

"Ukraine needs us. After Lugano & Berlin, Paris takes over for the reconstruction. Switzerland will invest 100 million for emergency humanitarian aid to face the winter. Solidarity with the Ukrainian people," Ignazio Cassis.

According to the president, the funds will be directed to energy, educational and medical institutions in Ukraine next year.

Also, on December 13, Ukraine received €200 million from Germany for the implementation of the sustainability program for internally displaced persons. The funds will be directed to the state budget and further — to pay benefits to IDPs.
