The United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Union initiated the creation of the Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group, whose task will be to record and investigate Russian war crimes to bring each perpetrator to justice further. The ACA will assist the Ukrainian prosecutor general's office and take on some of the work of documenting and analyzing evidence of Russian war crimes against Ukrainians.
"Evidence of crimes committed by Russian troops in Ukraine continues to accumulate. At first, the violence was expressed in bombing, rocket and artillery attacks on densely populated cities and villages, which led to the death of thousands of civilians and the destruction of civilian infrastructure," Antony Blinken.
"It is essential to ensure that all those responsible for the terrible atrocities committed during Russia's unprovoked military aggression in Ukraine are brought to justice. War crimes cannot go unpunished," Josep Borrell.
Earlier, the head of EU diplomacy criticized those who demanded to stop supplying weapons to Ukraine.
The Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group headquarters will be located in Poland for security reasons.
We remind you that Liz Truss initiated the creation of an international tribunal for the war criminal Putin.
