The Ministry of agrarian policy and food published the first spring export results. According to the data received, demand for Ukrainian agricultural products remains stable high; therefore, compared to the first half of February, another 100 tons were exported from the country – 3.8 million.
The most significant demand for corn, rapeseed, and sunflower oil. Corn was exported at 2 million tons in the first half of March. By 5 tons more – 739.600 was sold rapeseed. Also, the purchase of sunflower oil resulted in 18.000 tons higher than in the first two weeks of February – 248.100.
Recall that the grain initiative, which appeared because of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the capture of the seawaters, was extended. On March 27, as part of the program, 3 ships with food left Ukraine. They are headed to Asian countries.
