Foreign Leaders on the Walk of the Brave in Ukraine

In Kyiv, the new plates were installed in honour of the leaders of Latvia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovenia

On August 23, 2022, the Walk of the Brave opened in the capital of Ukraine, dedicated to political leaders and other representatives of partner countries that have supported Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. The alley is located in Constitution square opposite the parliament Building. This is the place where independent Ukraine was once created. And this is the place where everyone who helps Ukraine remain independent will be named.

The first foreign leaders on the Walk of the Brave were Polish president Andrzej Duda and former British prime minister Boris Johnson. On September 9, a new memorial plaque was opened in the alley. The monument was opened during the visit of the president of Latvia, Egils Levits, to Ukraine. Volodymyr Zelenskyy solemnly presented to the head of Latvia the symbol of bravery.

On September 9, the president’s office announced opening new tables with the names of assistants of Ukraine. There were 2 new monuments of reverence. The first table is dedicated to Egils Levits. The second label was unveiled on behalf of Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki, former Polish deputy prime minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Czech prime minister Petr Fiala and former Slovenian prime minister Janez Jansa.
