G7 Called on China to Press Russia

In a joint communiqué, the G7 member countries spelled out the need and urgency of calling on Russia to comply with the UN Charter

During the G7 summit in Bavaria, many strategic issues were agreed upon. One of them is the security of Ukraine and the end of the war. The war will end on the battlefield: either Putin will voluntarily end it, or Ukraine will defeat the Russian army.

"We continue to call on China to uphold its obligations under international law and to contribute to international security. We remind China of the need to uphold the principle of the UN Charter on peaceful settlement of disputes and to abstain from threats, coercion, intimidation measures or use of force.
As Russia is waging its unjustifiable, unprovoked and illegal war against Ukraine, we call on China to press Russia to immediately comply with the legally binding order of the International Court of Justice of 16 March 2022 and to abide by the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly and stop its military aggression – and immediately and unconditionally withdraw its troops from Ukraine," G7 statement.

We remind you that the European Union imposed sanctions on 5 Chinese companies.
