IAEA Will Not Allow to Be Manipulated

The director general of IAEA made a detailed assessment of the station

September 3, the final day of the international commission at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. Let us recall that the commission got to the nuclear facility only in the afternoon of September 1 due to shelling by the Russian occupiers.

By the end of his expert mission of the situation, Rafael Grossi presented his view of the situation. The IAEA director general reported that the nuclear station was physically broken. Grossi believes that the volume was damaged several times on different days. Of course, the expert noted that this is inadmissible. Grossi also pointed out that the situation around the Zaporizhzhia station is tough. The reason for this was the existence of the weapons and aggression circle of the station. If the fighting is intensified, the possibility of further physical damage to the station is high.

The IAEA noted that Russian nuclear experts, who manage Ukrainian experts, are present at the station. No one has yet said about gross violations of labour and personal framework. But on September 6, the UN Security Council will receive a full report after the mission in Ukraine.

The head of the commission said that his team saw everything that was needed and will not allow anyone to manipulate them. There are currently 6 international experts at the nuclear plant. 2 IAEA staff members wish to remain at the facility permanently. This will make it possible to continuously control the state of the largest nuclear point in Europe.
