ICC Opens Office in Kyiv

On March 23, an agreement was signed to open the first of several Karim Khan field offices in Ukraine

Recently, the cabinet of ministers of Ukraine has approved a draft bilateral agreement to launch the office of the prosecutor general of the International Criminal Court in Ukraine.

On March 23, at the premises of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, an agreement was signed to launch the first ICC office in Ukraine. First of all, Karim Khan will be located in Kyiv. The location has already been chosen but not made public. Further, ICC field offices will be opened in the territories of the territories that suffered from the Russian war the most.

We remind you that earlier, thanks to the efforts of Karim Khan and his team, the ICC issued the first warrant for the arrest of Putin and his accomplice for the forced deportation of children.

Offices located on the territory of cities witnessing Russian inhumanity will speed up the process of collecting evidence for the further trial of Putin and everyone involved in the Ukrainian genocide.
