The Minister of defence of Lithuania, Arvydas Anusauskas, announced that his department allocated another package of military aid to Ukraine: defence equipment worth €41 million. Carl Gustaf's howitzer ammunition and additional 5.56mm rounds, anti-drone and naval radars, rifles, generators and even NASAMS.
"Lithuania's contribution to the struggle for Ukraine's freedom has already amounted to millions of ammunition and thousands of weapons. And in return, valuable lessons have been learned, and Lithuania's defences have been strengthened. Lithuania continues to provide unwavering support to Ukraine, which has already exceeded half a billion euros," Arvydas Anusauskas.
We remind you that Lithuania borders Russia, so such assistance to Ukraine shows the incredible courage of this nation. Since the beginning of the war, Lithuania has handed Ukraine Mi-8, L-70 anti-aircraft guns and shells, M113 armoured personnel carriers, finances international funds to support Ukraine, participates in Ukrainian Interflex military exercises; Lithuania provides Ukraine with information and consultations. Moreover, the Lithuanian people raised funds to purchase Bayraktars and anti-drones for Ukraine.
